The “generative” part of Generative AI means that some type of “output” is created for a specific “input.” We all are amazed at the text-to-text capabilities of ChatGPT but there are actually 8 types of Generative AI (this is adapted from a paper by Roberto Gozalo-Brizuela, Eduardo C. Garrido-Merchan).
